In November 2008, ALLSTAR founded Outdoor Underwriters, Inc. to include hunt lease and timber product insurance.  As Vice President, Ed Wilson, Ph.D. oversees Outdoor’s operations and is supported by a very experienced underwriting and claims staff.  Although a new product range for ALLSTAR, with the help of David Brett, Exec. VP/COO of ALLSTAR, originally placed this coverage into the Lloyd’s market over 19 years ago.  Without hesitation, Lloyd’s has maintained its insurance for this program and its underwriters are actively supportive.  The longevity of international support is a testament to the reputation that Ed and his team have developed with their clients.  Outdoor Underwriters continues to have the support of several National/State organizations in the earliest stages of its history.
